KX 93.5 FM Announces Christmas Membership Drive

Two Lucky Members will Win Seven-Night Stays at a Montage Resort

LAGUNA, Calif., Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KX 93.5 FM, Laguna's not-for-profit community radio station, has announced its first member drive, which will run through December 15, 2012. The local, community-supported station, heard in Laguna and online, offers generational alternative rock music, volunteer-hosted shows, Stu News Laguna, surf, traffic and weather reports and live, local music. It thrives off of member support, sponsorships and donations.

Starting today, new and existing members will be entered into a raffle to win a seven-night stay at the Montage Laguna Beach with a spa package and foursome golf at Pelican Hill. The second prize is a separate seven-night stay at the Montage Deer Valley. Other prizes include an all-day "comfort cabana" at the Deck at Pacific Edge Hotel, a kayak tour for four, whale watching and wine.

One raffle ticket, which also grants membership and a KX 93.5 t-shirt, is $50. Two raffle tickets costs $93.50. The tax-deductible donation goes to maintain the station's operating budget.
