Casio's Privia PX-850 digital piano represents the latest innovation in digital pianos as it features Casio's new proprietary sound source, AiR (Acoustic and intelligent Resonator). This new source of technology allows the PX-850 to provide seamless dynamics for a remarkably expressive and powerful performance. The new PX-850 also features a redesigned 88 note Tri-sensor scaled hammer action keyboard, 256 notes of polyphony and a variety of instrument tones such as strings, organs, electric pianos and base. It has the ability to record a 44.1kHz.wav file directly to a USB thumb drive so that rehearsals and performances are captured and shared.

"We are honored to be a Design and Engineering Award Honoree at CES. Equipped with a variety of advanced features ideal for today's musician, the Privia PX-850 is a superior digital piano that delivers unmatched sound quality and realism," said Stephen Schmidt, Vice President of Casio's Electronic Musical Instruments Division. "We look forward to continuing to lead the way in the electronic musical instrument industry with innovative products that meet consumers' wants and needs."

The prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)(®), the producer of the International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, and have been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976.

Casio's Privia PX-850 will be displayed at the 2013 International CES, which runs January 8-11, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
