Filmed in 11 different countries - Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Djibouti,
Cameroon, Benin, Ghana, Togo, Zambia, Mozambique - the documentary examines the barriers
to trade and the opportunities for business and investment across borders if these
barriers can be removed.



Seen through the eyes of everyday traders, transporters, laborers and those who work
at ports, manage customs and administer systems, the film is a portrait of what is
happening on the ground in Africa today.



From the state of the art commodity exchange in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, to the
floating villages of Ganvie in Benin and the spectacular port of Beira in Mozambique, the
film crisscrosses Africa to show how things are moving and taking shape.



Created by the award-winning production house Camerapix/A24 Media, and produced for
the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, this 75-minute feature is beautifully
filmed and scripted and provides stories and insights into trade and the movement of
goods, services and people across the continent.



The hope and opportunities this presents for tackling poverty, driving growth and
equitable development are captured in the film. As Africa gradually moves to the center
stage this film will appeal to audiences across the continent and beyond, who all realize
the immense value that the continent posses.
