GRAMMY-Winning Musician Jorge Calderon To Release Two New Singles On Inside Recordings Tuesday, October 30th

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GRAMMY-winning musician, vocalist, songwriter and producer Jorge Calderón will release two new singles on Inside Recordings Tuesday, October 30(th). "I Will Wait For You" and "Thorn In Your Side" will be released digitally via Inside Recordings - an independent label founded by Jackson Browne and his management.

"'I Will Wait For You,' is a song I wrote after meeting a young woman on leave from Iraq who was about to go back in a few days," says Calderón. "I couldn't stop thinking about how I would feel if I had a loved one or a family member in that situation." The song features Jennifer Warnes on vocal, Van Dyke Parks on accordion and Reggie Hamilton on upright bass.

After witnessing "the struggles of today's working people," Calderón wrote, "Thorn in Your Side," which talks about the economic inequality in our country and many countries in the world today.

Calderón, originally from San Juan Puerto Rico and is a world-renowned musician and multi-instrumentalist who has toured with David Lindley & El Rayo X, Leonard Cohen, Ry Cooder, Jackson Browbe, and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Calderón is known most famously for his years of collaboration with Warren Zevon. Jorge Calderón appeared on all but one of Zevon's post-1976 albums. He also produced Zevon's final album The Wind" which includes "Keep Me In Your Heart" their last collaboration, and consequently the Warren Zevon tribute album "Enjoy Every Sandwich: Songs Of Warren Zevon."

These two new tracks are classic Americana songs that illustrate Jorge Calderón's craft not only as a musician but also a songwriter. The songs will be available via iTunes and other digital retailers.
