Tombras Wins Most District ADDY Awards in Southeast; Work Will Now Move Up to National Tier

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., April 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Tombras Group followed up its big night at the 2012 Knoxville ADDY Awards by winning more awards than any other agency in the competition's next tier, the five-state American Advertising Federation (AAF) District 7. Overall, Tombras received six Gold and 13 Silver District ADDY Awards, more than any other company in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Tombras won Gold District ADDY Awards for the "A Helping Hand" print campaign produced for the Smoky Mountain Convention & Visitors Bureau, the "Why, Daddy?" TV commercial produced for Farm Bureau Insurance and the "Invisible Cops" TV commercial produced for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The agency also scored Gold for the "With These Hands" TV commercial produced for McDonald's.

Additionally, Tombras won Silver District ADDY Awards for the following clients: Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Regal Cinemas, Tennessee Department of Transportation and The University of Tennessee Athletic Department.

Those Gold and Silver District winners are now eligible for the national tier of the competition, which takes place in June.
