Comcast Sports Group and OneTwoSee(TM) Partner to Launch a Second Screen Application to Enhance Local Broadcast Coverage of MLB Games

In-Game, Audience Driven Application now Available in Bay Area, Chicago, New York and Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Sports Group, part of the NBC Sports Group, and OneTwoSee(TM) a national leader in the creation, deployment and management of new social TV solutions, launch an in-game, audience participation application for Comcast Sports Group's coverage of Major League Baseball games on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia (Phillies), SNY (Mets), Comcast SportsNet Chicago (Cubs and White Sox), Comcast SportsNet Bay Area (Giants) and Comcast SportsNet California (A's).

The new web application, In Game Live, which is free to all users, is now available on Comcast SportsNet websites during all televised broadcasts.

In Game Live offers fans an interactive, social media rich, second-screen experience that is designed to complement the on-air broadcast, and includes pitcher/hitter statistics, live trending Twitter and Facebook components, and user-generated photos and comments. In Game Live participants get an online companion viewing experience that enhances the local television coverage with:

-- Breaking Comcast SportsNet/SNY team and local sports news
-- In-game statistical analysis
-- Trending player coverage from Facebook and Twitter

"Launching this application in partnership with Comcast Sports Group is the culmination of tireless efforts over the past two years by our entire team to bring this concept to reality," said Chris Reynolds, Cofounder and CEO, OneTwoSee(TM). "This new application lets fans interact with a community of like-minded fans during games and see the latest stats as if they were sitting in the broadcast booths."

In addition to providing users with a complete social and statistical experience, Comcast SportsNet advertisers can take advantage of the unique sponsorship opportunity that showcases them as the exclusive advertiser for the entire platform.

"We know that the majority of our viewers are looking at any number of devices during our live telecasts," said Eric Grilly, executive vice president and chief digital officer, Comcast Sports Group. "Offering our audience a complementary second-screen experience that includes great stats and creating a new, relevant community to interact with during the game, serves to make our coverage more engaging and entertaining. This product helps enhance our coverage and deliver exposure and value to our sponsors."
