Michigan Attorney Wants Public to Be Smart About the Law

Attorney Mike Morse Debuts on WKBD

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- His firm specializes in accident law, and local lawyer Michael Morse has been settling cases in this area for over 20 years. Six months ago, he decided to crack the television market to service more clients.

Michael Morse, Barry and Brent Leder and Mike's director of new business, Janet Rosenberg "got to work."

"We were on the air with talking testimonials and the response was immediate." But Michael wanted more.

"Within weeks we developed 'Smart Law'," according to Morse. "It's a multi-media talk show where the audiences are the stars. We basically teach them things to do to help win their lawsuit and understand the legal system. Most importantly, we give them Smart Law tips.

"We're working locally in this market with CBS. They love our new twist on the old lawyer call-in concept. Smart Law makes sense and says a lot."

"We answer real legal questions, and get into issues that affect our viewers," according to Brent Leder, attorney and legal collaborator on the show. "Michael Morse is educating the people on how the legal process really works. We're making friends first by talking straight and people respect that. People like and trust Mike Morse, he's a refreshing new look on TV."

Viewers can call , tweet and e-mail questions to the show, they can even take a video on their camera phone and see themselves on TV. The network has committed to three shows, but the indications are positive that Smart Law will be on the air for many more episodes.

Smart Law premieres on CW 50, Monday, January 16th at 4pm.
