Netflix Names Christopher Libertelli as Its New Lead on Government Relations

LOS GATOS, Calif., Dec. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Netflix, Inc. today announced the appointment of Christopher Libertelli as the head of Global Government Relations. Mr. Libertelli joins Netflix from Skype, where for the last seven years, he successfully managed the company's government relations programs in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

Netflix also announced today that Michael Drobac will be leaving the company to launch his own public service/ health care start-up. Mr. Drobac successfully established the Netflix Government Relations office in Washington in 2010 and spearheaded the company's domestic and global government relations' strategy.

Prior to joining Skype in 2005, Libertelli served as senior legal advisor to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission and an associate at Dow, Lohnes & Albertson. He received his JD in Communications Law at from Boston University.
