LIONSGATE® Scores Golden Globe® Nominations for Its Critically Acclaimed Drama BOSS and Series Star Kelsey Grammer
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LIONSGATE® (NYSE: LGF), a leading global entertainment company, earned Golden Globe® award nominations today for BOSS in the Best Drama Series category and for its star, Kelsey Grammer, as Best Actor in a Drama Series.

This is the first nomination for BOSS, which launched on Starz in October. The series has already been renewed for its second season and has earned widespread critical acclaim.
Grammer's nomination is his first Golden Globe® nod for a dramatic role. Over the course of his career, he has won two Golden Globe® Awards and has earned a total of 9 nominations.
BOSS stars Grammer as fictional Chicago Mayor Tom Kane, who holds sway over just about everything in his city. When faced with a terrible secret that threatens his power, his true character is revealed. Also starring in the drama are Connie Nielsen, Jeff Hephner, Hannah Ware, Kathleen Robertson, Martin Donovan and Troy Garity.
