CSC Signs Three-year Contract with The University of Texas at Arlington to Provide Services at College Park Center

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Dec. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CSC, the world leader in providing crowd management services, is pleased to announce its three-year contract with The University of Texas at Arlington to provide event staffing at College Park Center, a new $78 million, 7,000-seat events venue.

CSC will provide event staffing with upward of 40 employees for various College Park Center events, including basketball and volleyball games, commencement ceremonies and concerts. CSC has previously worked with UT Arlington to provide commencement staffing.

The development of College Park Center has triggered renewed interest in downtown Arlington, enhancing desirability for the city and University while ensuring job creation. UT Arlington enrollment reached an all-time high this fall of 33,439, a 34 percent increase over the past five years.

College Park Center formally opens Feb. 1, 2012 with a ceremonial ribbon cutting and men's and women's basketball games. The center was designed by HKS Inc., architects of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium, and features split-bowl seating that puts more fans near center court.
