BEIJING, Nov. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- VisionChina Media Inc. ("VisionChina Media" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: VISN), one of China's largest out-of-home digital television advertising networks on mass transportation systems, today announced that it will hold its 2011 annual general meeting of shareholders at the offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, 35/F ICBC Tower, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., at 10:30 a.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on December 28, 2011 (9:30 p.m. EST on December 27, 2011). The Company fixed the close of business on November 29, 2011 as the record date for the determination of shareholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the 2011 annual general meeting of shareholders.

The Company has filed its annual report on Form 20-F, including its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2010, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").
