Receives top honors for 'Breakthrough Sponsorship Development for COVERGIRL' on Taylor Swift Speak Now Tour
NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The United Entertainment Group (UEG) - in partnership with 13 Management and G7 Marketing - received the highly coveted 2011 Concert Marketing & Promotion Award in this year's Billboard Touring Awards for their work on COVERGIRL's activation on the Taylor Swift Speak Now Tour. UEG beat out fellow category nominees including the Dave Matthews Band Caravan, Keith Urban Get Closer Tour, and Foo Fighters Garage Tour. "Our vision for this integrated program was to leverage the COVERGIRL brand while providing an enriched and valuable customer experience," says United Entertainment Group CEO Jarrod Moses. "We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with two such innovative and exciting brands on this award winning campaign."
As part of their award winning initiative, COVERGIRL employed an activation upon entry strategy, makeovers, product sampling and coupons, as well as photo capture with COVERGIRL/Taylor visuals, and 19 branded trailers throughout the tour areas.

The Billboard Concert Marketing & Promotion Award is given to a sponsorship or promotion that benefited the concert industry at large by stimulating attendance to live events, providing value to fans, and promoting the artist and brands involved. The sponsorship or promotion must achieve its marketing goal in a quantifiable way; and can be a tour title sponsorship, a venue naming rights deal, a touring artist's endorsement deal, a single show sponsor, a festival sponsorship, a multifaceted tour sponsorship integration, or other deal, as long as it pertains to live performance that took place between Jan. and Sept. 2011.
