Signature, Year-end Business Conference For Executives in TV, Film, and Video Technology To Be Held In New York on Thursday, December 1, 2011

NEW YORK, Nov. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Twenty-one of the industry's most elite leaders will be participating as featured guests or panelists at this important year-end conference for television and video, Thursday, December 1 in New York City. The Fourth Annual On Screen Media Summit is presented by two highly-regarded television trade publications, Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News and will take place at the Sentry East Side conference facility located at 730 Third Avenue at East 45th Street.

The On Screen Media Summit will explore immediate revenue opportunities for the business of all things on screen - - including movie-theaters, TV sets, computer monitors, and handheld mobile devices.

With 2012 approaching, this full-day, annual Summit is ideally positioned to discuss plans and expectations for the coming year. The conference provides a chance to closely review the business and revenue opportunities in this critical time.

The day's agenda is defined by day-part.

The morning sessions focus on the importance of programming and how it is acquired, branded and distributed to content providers and ultimately used to engage viewers. The morning's featured interview guests are such industry leaders as David Zaslav, the President & CEO of Discovery; Steve Mosko, President of Sony Pictures Television; Turner Broadcasting Chairman & CEO, Phil Kent; and Anne Sweeney, the Co-Chairman of Disney Media Networks and President of Disney/ABC Television Group.

The morning line-up also includes a Panel on Monetizing New Distribution Technologies.
