"A TRIBUTE TO EMILY" Multi-Media Painting Story

NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TODD RIDDLE, former Creative Director from global creative advertising agencies Fallon and BBH launches a multi-media painting story that will open on September 8, 2011 at the Olga Guanabara Gallery at 63 Pearl Street in Brooklyn.

Riddle took an unusual route to achieve his ultimate goal of getting his work into a New York gallery. Combining his passion for screenwriting, short film, digital photography and painting, Riddle painted over 40 original pieces spanning a period of over 6 years. The paintings accompany a fictional story about a fictional artist who painted a fictional model who is accidentally discovered by a fictional art gallery (The New York Gallery) that Riddle trademarked.

"Soft-launching" the series initially on The New York Gallery's Facebook page and website, the series was then picked up by Brooklyn based Olga Guanabara Gallery.

With an audio-video tour - viewers at the Brooklyn gallery will be able to watch and listen to the 12-minute documentary about the fictitious artist, alongside the actual paintings on their handheld PDA devices. The short film chronicles the story of how a failed Wall Street Analyst becomes a Bohemian artist living in upstate New York in the summer of 2008.

Along with the audio-video tour - viewers will be able to access details of each painting and additional content including an interview with a fictitious collector. The show will run September 8 - 23, 2011.
