COSTA MESA, Calif., March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The OC Fair today announced rock tribute band performances, plus action sports for canine lovers and mixed martial arts enthusiasts during the 2011 OC Fair (July 15-August 14). As always, concert and action sports tickets include Fair admission. These shows are on sale March 5.

Concerts in The Hangar to go on sale include: Atomic Punks / 5150 - Best of Both Van Halen Worlds (Thursday, July 21), Space Oddity - David Brighton's Tribute to David Bowie (Saturday, July 23), and Queen Nation - A Tribute to the Music of Queen (Wednesday, July 27).

Reserved seats in the Action Sports Arena to go on sale include: JUMP! - The Ultimate Dog Show (Wednesday, July 27, 2, 4 & 6 p.m.), SummerFist IV - Mixed Martial Arts (Thursday, July 28), and Orange County Police Canine Association Show (Sunday, July 31, 2, 4 & 6 p.m.) Non-reserved seats are available free with Fair admission. Reserved seats for both canine shows, JUMP! and the Police Canine show, are available for $11 and include free Fair admission.

Tickets for these events go on sale Saturday, March 5, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster or at the OC Fair & Event Center Box Office, which is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone (800) 745-3000.

The 2011 OC Fair, themed LET'S EAT!, is July 15 - August 14 and will bring 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music, action sports and fun, as well as the popular Season Pass, Pacific Amphitheatre Summer Concert Series, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. The OC Fair was ranked the eighth highest attended fair in the U.S. last year by Venues Today magazine.
