Inaugural Beverly Hills Film, TV & New Media Festival Boasts 8 Days and Nights of Screenings, Red Carpet Premieres, Panels and More Beginning October 21, 2010

Opening Night Includes Honorary Awards Ceremony That Celebrates Achievements Of Seymour Cassel, Paul Sorvino, Martin Landau, LisaRaye, Jackie Warner, Cindy Margolis, Jenn Proske And The Cast Of 'The Invocation'

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The initial line-up of star-studded film, television and new media entertainment, red carpet premieres, panels and honorary award winners have been announced by the Beverly Hills Film, TV & New Media Festival. The first of its kind in Beverly Hills, the international event runs October 21-October 28.

Kicking off the festivities is an Opening Night Honorary Awards Ceremony benefiting the American Red Cross and celebrating the Lifetime Achievements of honorees Seymour Cassel, Paul Sorvino and Martin Landau. Honorees also include LisaRaye for Achievement in the Arts, Jackie Warner for Achievement in Reality TV, Pioneer in New Media and Internet Cindy Margolis, Best New Actress Jenn Proske and the cast of "The Invocation" who will be honored with the Humanitarian Award. The ceremony will be held at the stylish Aqua Lounge located at 424 N. Beverly Dr. Beverly Hills, CA 90210.

Festival screenings will take place exclusively at Laemmle Music Hall 3 Theatre, located at 9036 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211-1826. The competitive screenings will exhibit a selection of short- and long-form works that exhibit strong personal visions combined with the highest standards of creative excellence and technical achievement.

Screenings include Lost Angels, Mad World, Skin Trade, What If Cannabis Cured Cancer, Web Therapy, Dishin It Up, Listen To Your Heart, Fetish and Come Together - A Beatles Tribute among others.
