Viamedia Names Manager of Advanced Advertising & Business Development for South East & Mid Atlantic Regions

LEXINGTON, Ky., July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Viamedia, the cable industry's leading independent cable rep firm, announced they have named two key management positions to assist with Viamedia's advanced advertising & business development initiatives.

Mark Schmiedeknecht has accepted the role of Manager of Advanced Advertising & Business Development for Viamedia's Mid Atlantic regions including Augusta, Charlotte, Charleston, Jackson, Norfolk, Tampa & Washington DC markets.

Randy Wahlberg has accepted the role of Manager of Advanced Advertising & Business Development for Viamedia's South East regions including Panama City, Huntsville and Montgomery markets.

In their roles as Manager of Advanced Advertising & Business Development, both Mr. Schmiedeknecht & Mr. Wahlberg will be responsible for managing the regional sales effort for emerging technologies in their respective regions. The primary responsibilities for both will include Viamedia's current online and longform initiatives, as well as advanced technologies such as VOD, Widgets, EBIF and text advertising campaigns.

Mr. Schmiedeknecht has been with Viamedia since 2002 when he joined as VP/ GM for their Chicago market. In 2008, he was named Corporate Director of New Media.

Mr. Wahlberg has been with Viamedia since 2008 as General Sales Manager for their Panama City market.
