Fever City Studio Catches Its Fourth Emmy(R) Award With PSA
DENVER, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Fever City Studio, LLC, a Denver-based creative agency, announced today that they received their fourth Emmy® Award for Best Single Spot in Community / Public Service (PSA) from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Heartland Chapter.
And the Emmy goes to "Uninterrupted," a Public Service Announcement created with the 18th Judicial District, State of Colorado and the Network DC.
Michael McIntyre, owner of Fever City Studio, said the fourth Emmy continues an impressive run for his company. "This Emmy comes on the heels of some great projects with amazing people and several awards for Fever City," he said. "Granted, it's nice having a truckload of Telly's but there's something special about getting four Emmy's. It's been an honor to be a part of the 'Uninterrupted' team since the beginning."
Though it's his fourth Emmy, this marks his second win for the "Uninterrupted" campaign, an ongoing media project that lets teens talk about sensitive, often difficult issues. Their stories convey personal experiences in an effort to reach out to other teens and parents in similar situations. McIntyre edits for the series created by Joy Parrish, Producer. Jim Kellett serves as Director with Gene Park, Videographer, and David Schler, Executive Producer.
A lengthy producing and editing career prompted McIntyre to launch Fever City Studio in 2005. This year, the company has completed several network specials: "True Blood" (HBO), "The Pacific" (HBO), "LOST" (ABC), "V" (ABC) and "All My Children" (ABC). Other clients include: Discovery, Disney, DreamWorks, Universal, Warner Brothers, DISH, TLC, HGTV and Military Channel. In addition, McIntyre continues to create "Hollywood One on One" for Scott Patrick Productions. The award-winning, international program will soon reach 1,000 episodes.
Fever City's Emmy® award was presented at the National Academy for Television Arts and Sciences 2010 Heartland Regional Awards on July 18 with ceremonies in Denver and Oklahoma City. NATAS Heartland Region is one of 19 geographical regions across the country, and includes television markets in several states including Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming.
