Palm Springs to Host Rainbow Show

Labor Day Weekend Showcase is Part of Largest Gay Talent Search in History

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Rainbow Talent Company, an entertainment venture based in Southern California, is proud to present the Rainbow Show, a gathering of the best entertainers in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered communities. The event will be held Labor Day weekend, September 3-6, 2010 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

"The Rainbow Show promises to be one of the most lavish productions anyone has ever seen," says Creator and Executive Producer Will Loper. "We are pulling out all the stops, showcasing the best rising stars in the gay community, and rounding out the show with a distinguished panel of celebrity judges."

Judges include actress Jill Whelan, best known for her role as Vicki Stubing on the popular TV series The Love Boat, actor Gordon Thomson who starred in the cult 1980's nighttime drama Dynasty, and the incomparable and outrageously outspoken Madame, a creation made famous in the mid 1960's by the late puppeteer Wayland Flowers.

Interested performers can register online or by mail and send in a DVD or videotape audition. Contestants can also choose to receive a date and time to appear for a live audition the weekend of the competition.
