Fiesta's got the beat at this year's hottest music festivals
At the 10th Annual Movement: Detroit's Electronic Music Festival this past weekend, fans got a chance to mix with the title sponsor, the new Ford Fiesta, in a very meaningful way. On the riverfront in Hart Plaza, a cool Fiesta lounge area piped live techno music in from the main stage. Similarly, at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., June 10-13, Ford will present the Fiesta Garage - a comfortable gathering place decorated in late-'70s chic style - where people can enjoy live musical performances, hear from Bonnaroo artists on how to write music, watch Fiesta videos and design custom T-shirts. more...

Charge your Transit Connect Electric at home, for free
Ford will partner with Coulomb Technologies to provide nearly 5,000 in-home charging stations to some of the automaker's first electric vehicle customers free of charge. Residents in nine markets, including Austin, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Sacramento, San Jose/San Francisco, Redmond, Wash. and Washington, D.C., could receive a free ChargePoint® Networked Charging Station with purchase of a Ford Transit Connect Electric. The ChargePoint Network provides authentication, management and real-time control for networked electric vehicle charging stations. Fusion Hybrids to save fuel for SimplexGrinnell
For fire and life safety services leader SimplexGrinnell, which was looking to replace 25 percent of its sales fleet with hybrid vehicles, the Ford Fusion Hybrid fits the bill. The Tyco International Company recently ordered 200 Fusion Hybrids that will be used by select sales and leadership staff. A new website is making it easy, cost-effective and fun for Ford owners to turn their car or truck into a unique personalized ride with vinyl graphics that offer the look of a custom paint job. The website, www.fordcustomgraphics.com, which launched with vinyl wrap designs for the new Ford Fiesta, is expanding to include graphics for the Mustang and F-150.
