Center for Film Studies Relocates from Oakland County to Allen Park Studio Center in Wayne County

ALLEN PARK, Mich., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The highly successful proprietary school, Center for Film Studies, (CFS,) is pleased to announce they are moving to a 10,000 square foot facility within the Allen Park Studio Center, the film complex owned by the city of Allen Park.

The Center for Film Studies has formed a training alliance with a film studio also on-site at the Allen Park Studio Center including Global Renaissance Entertainment, a nationally known movie production company who has secured commitments from some of Hollywood's most successful producers from movies such as, "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "300" and "Superman Returns" for a number of major films to be made at the new facility in the coming months. CFS has arranged the relationship with Global Renaissance to have them hire their qualified graduates for work on their films to be shot in Michigan.

In addition, an affiliation has been arranged with Stautzenberger Institute, also located at the Allen Park film complex who will be conducting entertainment training.

Also, Scenic Prop and Design, a manufacturer of props and sets for films and television shows will relocate their showroom to the Allen Park Studio Center and in the coming months their manufacturing facility will move to Allen Park, as well.

Since the Center for Film Studies began their film trade school, several hundred Michigan residents have completed course work training and have been put back to work - in just a short amount of time. Graduates of CFS have received job placements throughout the industry including employment on commercials, music videos, theatre and interactive projects, along with film and television shows.

Targeted to the needs of the film industry, to Hollywood standards, 6 - 24 week intensive hands-on training is offered, such as set building and prop design, special effects make-up, camera and audio and production. After completing this thorough preparation, CFS graduates are then fully prepared to land jobs that have included employment on:

Reality television shows - ABCs Crash Course, and Rolling On
