U.S. Investment Fund Kabouter Announced its Investment in QJY as Substantial Shareholder

HONG KONG, May 28 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Qin Jia Yuan Media Services Company Limited (HKEx Stock Code: 2366, hereafter referred to as "QJY" or the "Group") is pleased to announce that on 25 May 2010, Kabouter Management LLC ("Kabouter") increased its total equity interest in QJY to 38,556,276 shares, representing approximately 5.08% of the existing issued share of the Company as at 25 May 2010.

Kabouter is a Chicago-based investment management firm with assets under management of approximately USD185 million as at 31 December 2009. Kabouter adopts a reasonable price approach by investing in small to medium size companies in non-US developed markets and benefits from their growth.

Kabouter believes that QJY has a unique business model to address opportunities available in PRC media and advertising industry with television as its core platform for long term development. This is also consistent with its approach of strategic investment to realize its objective of long term investment.
