NEW YORK, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Maxey Hayse Design Studios is proud to announce their association with Discovery channels CONSTRUCTION INTERVENTION. CONSTRUCTION INTERVENTION follows Charlie Frattini, New York Construction Extraordinaire, and his trusted team of contractors and designers as they find businesses that are in danger of failing due to botched, delayed, or impossible construction jobs and rescue them from their construction woes. Maxey Hayse Design Studio provided the interior design for Guys & Dolls, a billiard hall located in Valley Stream, NY.

Business owner, Susan Pitaccio was invited to join the CONSTRUCTION INTERVENTION team to help a family in need by transforming Guys & Dolls into a fun, family gathering place. The goal of the team was to give the family back a revenue generating, functional place of business. The design was very ambitious for a four-day build, but everyone was up for the challenge. The design called for the removal of the entire ceiling including all electrical, the demo of all walls and restrooms, jacking the floor for all new plumbing and relocation of restrooms, a completely new and larger bar, lounge area, stage, extensive lighting details, all new HVAC, various wall finishes, re-conditioning pool tables, signage and a very unique interactive gaming section.

CONSTRUCTION INTERVENTION premieres Fridays at 7 p.m. EDT.
