Charm Communications Inc. Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering at $9.50 per ADS on NASDAQ Global Market

NEW YORK, May 4 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Charm Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:CHRM) ("Charm" or the "Company"), a leading television advertising agency in China, today announced that its initial public offering of 7,812,500 American Depositary Shares ("ADSs"), each representing two Class A ordinary shares of the Company, was priced at $9.50 per ADS, before underwriting discounts and commissions. The ADSs will begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on May 5, 2010 under the symbol "CHRM."

The underwriters have an option to purchase up to 1,171,875 additional ADSs from a selling shareholder of the Company to cover over-allotments.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC ("Credit Suisse") is acting as the sole bookrunner for the offering and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as co-managers.
