'Atom TV' Returns to COMEDY CENTRAL for a Third Season on Wednesday, May 19 at 2:30 a.m.

New Season To Feature Guest Hosts Including Comedian Paul. F. Tompkins And Zach Selwyn

NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- "Atom TV," COMEDY CENTRAL's half-hour, late-night series featuring original Web programming from Atom.com, makes its return for a third season starting Wednesdays on May 19 at 2:30 a.m. ET/PT. The upcoming season features a rotating line-up of comedic guest hosts on each episode, including Paul F. Tompkins ("Best Week Ever," "Mr. Show with Bob and David"), Zach Selwyn ("Attack of the Show!" "White People Problems"), Jacob Fleischer ("Intercourse With A Vampire"), Team Tiger Awesome ("Oprah is Dead," "Avatar'd," "Chick Drinks"), Jay Larson ("Live at Gotham," "The Laundry Room") and Reigel and Blatt ("IKEA Song," "Weekend Plans").

"Atom TV" is a weekly comedy show featuring a line-up up of original programming that includes sketch comedies, animation and live-action shorts. Each episode is developed and handpicked by Atom.com and COMEDY CENTRAL, with one segment of each show programmed with videos that were originally uploaded to Atom's new "World Famous Cash-Money Internet Comedy Tournament" (tournament.atom.com).

Atom videos featured on the May 19 return of "Atom TV" are:

"iFreak"

Introducing the iFreak, the latest in shame-based, pornographic stimulation, only from Apple!

"ManBear Part 1"

A series about a man who, due to a freak accident, transforms into a bear whenever he becomes happy.

"Chick Drinks"

Whether viewers fancy a peach bellini, a purple hooter, or a shot of whiskey, they'll find this song delicious.

"Tech Support"

For anyone who's ever been frustrated by a terrible call to tech support, creators Evan and Gareth finally have a guy who speaks the language.

"Sketch of the Dead"

Paul F. Tompkins and "Mad Men's" Rich Sommer deal with the prospects of an eternity in a zombie apocalypse.

"Facebooked - Episode 1: Friend Request" (Atom Tournament winner)

When a Facebook obsessive accepts a friend request from someone he doesn't know, things take a sinister turn.

"Texting While Walking PSA" (Atom Tournament winner)

A very effective public service announcement (PSA) of what will probably happen when you text while walking.

Other Atom shows airing in the third season include "Fish Punchers," the show about guys who punch fish; "Milk Men," a note perfect parody of "Mad Men"; "Recession Song," a music video parody about how hard the recession has been on musicians; "Drunk Rocketeer," a video comedy in which the Rocketeer is pulled over for a DUI; and "Douche Off," a race to the bottom as two winners compete for the title of Ultimate Douche.

Atom.com, a division of Viacom Inc.'s (NYSE:VIA)(NYSE:and)(NYSE:VIA.B) MTVN Entertainment Group, is a digital comedy network for young men that reaches millions of consumers each month on the Atom.com Web site and millions more through multiplatform distribution on television, mobile phones and the Internet.
