Yoostar Announces Winners of National Casting Tour

Two Winners Earn Walk-on Roles in Upcoming Productions

NEW YORK, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Yoostar Entertainment Group today announced the two winners of its Yoostar Casting Agency Tour, with the top prize going to Alexandra Carry of Oceanside, NY, who earned a walk-on role in a 2010 Lions Gate Film production. A second prize of a walk-on role in an upcoming Alloy Media Webisode to be featured on www.Teen.com, was awarded to Marquia Kenney of Queens, NY.

The Yoostar Casting Agency Tour stopped at over thirty campuses and malls across twelve markets between September and December 2009. At each event, college students, tweens, teens, and even their parents, were given the opportunity to create a performance with the Yoostar system. The tour was executed with Alloy Media + Marketing and sponsored by L'Oreal Paris, Coke Zero, and Break.com.

In total, over 5,000 participants created approximately 2,000 video submissions, while nearly 2,000 participants received makeovers from L'Oreal Paris stylists. Actor Jamie Kennedy served as the lead agent for the tour and helped select the winners in a panel with Jess Barron, VP of Programming for Yoostar and Jonathan Small, Editorial Director for Break Media.
