Sinclair Updates on Status of ABC Affiliation Agreements

BALTIMORE, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:SBGI), the "Company" or "Sinclair," announced that the affiliation agreements with the ABC Network for nine stations it owns have been extended until March 31, 2010 while the two sides continue to negotiate. The network affiliation agreements were due to expire on December 31, 2009 and, as Sinclair has previously announced, have been extended monthly since then.
