Time Warner Cable And Turner Broadcasting System Executives Take Top Honors
NEW YORK, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- NAMIC (National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications) today announced winners of the 2010 Next Generation Leaders Awards. This year's recipients of the esteemed award are Imani Breaker, vice president, Customer Care, New York City Region, Time Warner Cable, David Hudson, vice president, Alternative Programming, TNT and TBS, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., and Matthew Hong, senior vice president & general manager, Turner Sports, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. The Next Generation Leaders Awards will be presented at the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast scheduled for Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Held as part of Cable Connection - Spring, the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast will take place at the JW Marriott at LA Live! in Los Angeles, California.

Selected by NAMIC and editors of Multichannel News, the Next Generation Leaders Awards recognize up-and-coming executives of color for demonstrating exceptional managerial acumen while embracing NAMIC's mission to educate, advocate and empower for diversity and inclusion in the communications industry. Awards are presented in three categories: Cable MSO, Cable Programmer and Technology Company or Discipline. Executives of color age 45 and under were eligible for nomination. Breaker (MSO), Hudson (Programmer) and Hong (Technology) were selected from a distinguished group of nominees as this year's award winners.
