Forced to endure extreme deprivation and a debilitating climate, fighting a Japanese foe who would rather die than surrender, these soldiers are driven to the brink of their humanity. THE PACIFIC depicts their battles - physical, mental and emotional - as it explores the true human cost of war. The epic ten-part miniseries event debuts with Part One on SUNDAY, MARCH 14 (8:00-9:00 p.m. CT/9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), followed by other parts debuting on consecutive Sundays at the same time through May 16.
