Governor's Advisory Commission on African American Affairs to Host Black History Month Celebration
Harrisburg - The Governor's Advisory Commission on African American Affairs will host a Black History Month Celebration at noon on Thursday, Feb. 18, in the Main Rotunda of the Capitol.
The theme for the program is, "From Remixing to Rebuilding: The History of Black Economic Empowerment." Educator and historian Michele Hairston will discuss the evolution of Hip Hop music.
