Spanish Beisbol Network to Broadcast Caribbean World Series Games
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Spanish Beisbol Network (SBN) will once again be carrying live radio broadcasts of all 12 games of the Caribbean World Series (CWS) in Spanish in select markets across the United States. The CWS features four professional baseball teams, representing the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.
This year the CWS is being played on Margarita Island, Venezuela from February 2-7, with the home team defending their 2009 Serie del Caribe title. Many MLB players take the time to play for their country of origin in this tournament, and it's also a chance to hear about up-and-coming Major League players in action.
