Honor Society Joins Timbaland on String of Cross-Country Tour Dates

Honor Society Joins Timbaland on String of Cross-Country Tour Dates

BURBANK, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- With their debut album, "Fashionably Late," and Fall 2009 national headline tour under their collective belt, Hollywood Records band Honor Society is set to share the stage with Timbaland, when they join the superstar producer for two-weeks of his national tour. The dates kick off Jan. 16 in Washington, D.C., and wrap up at L.A.'s House of Blues on Jan. 29 (see below for a complete itinerary). Said Honor Society lead singer Michael Bruno, "We are honored to be touring with Timbaland, and also extremely excited. He has truly been one of our favorite artists over the years, and getting the chance to tour with him is a dream-come-true."

In concert, Honor Society performs songs from their debut album "Fashionably Late," which premiered on the national charts at #18, and which was written by the band along with Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. In addition to touring with Timbaland, on Jan. 21, the band will play an all-acoustic, one-night-only concert at the School of Rock in N.J. These dates come on the heels of their 40-date "Fashionably Late" national headlining tour last fall, which included 12 sold-out performances at such venues as the House of Blues in Los Angeles and the Fillmore in New York City. In addition to touring, Honor Society wrote and recorded a new song for the ATT/ Olympics soundtrack, due for February release. On the media front, the band performed on "The Today Show" last September, as well as recent appearances on "the Early Show" and "The Jimmy Kimmel Show."

New York natives Michael Bruno (vocals, guitar), Andrew Lee (bass, vocals), Alexander Noyes (drums) and Jason Rosen (keyboards, guitar, vocals) round out the Honor Society line-up. "Fashionably" Late," which debuted on the national charts at #18, was executive produced by the Jonas Brothers, and produced by John Fields and the Jonas Brothers. The release of the album last fall capped off a busy year for the band as they joined Jordin Sparks and the Jonas Brothers on their 2009 World Tour, performing for a million fans across North America. Honor Society simultaneously headlined their own club tour, which they called The Full Moon Crazy Tour.
