HDNet Acquires New Series From Bennett Productions

LOS ANGELES and DALLAS, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- In a deal that validates the continued popularity of Bennett Productions' male-targeted programming, the L.A.-based high definition television production company has completed an agreement with HDNet to broadcast "Bikini Destinations," and two similar series, over the next four years.

Ten (10) new episodes of the globally-popular series - now broadcast in 140 countries - are part of the package licensed by HDNet, the Dallas-based, Mark Cuban-owned network. Four of the new "Bikini Destinations" episodes take place in Argentina, Uruguay, Montenegro, and Croatia, and were delivered to HDNet simultaneously with the signing of the deal on December 18. Another six (6) episodes are in pre-production to be completed by this fall.

Also included in the 60 half-hour episodes that are a part of the deal, are re-issues of "The Wild Side" and "Bikini Destination Fantasies," in addition to re-issues of "Bikini Destinations" which has been successfully running on HDNet since 2001.

The agreement was announced today by HDNet, and by Ian Woods, president of Bennett Productions. The sales agent is Moving Pictures Film & Television, Los Angeles.
