Film Icon Dennis Hopper Files For Divorce

VENICE, Calif., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, January 14, 2010, legendary actor, director and photographer Dennis Hopper, filed for divorce in Los Angeles County from Victoria Duffy, his wife of 14 years. Hopper cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

"I wish Victoria the best, but only want to spend these difficult days surrounded by my children and close friends," says Hopper.

The iconic star of "Easy Rider," "Apocalypse Now" and the Starz network series "Crash," Hopper is currently battling prostate cancer.
