Vice President Joe Biden To Appear as a Guest on 'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' Tuesday, November 17 at 11:00 p.m.

NEW YORK, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Vice President Joe Biden will make his sixth appearance as a guest on the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Tuesday, November 17 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), marking his first time back to the show since being elected Vice President of the United States of America and the first time a sitting Vice President has appeared on "The Daily Show."

Vice President Biden's last appearance on "The Daily Show" was on August 8, 2007, while he was a candidate for the 2008 Democratic nomination for president. Among his other previous appearances, he was also a guest on the show the day he officially announced that he was seeking the Democratic nomination, January 31, 2007.

"The Daily Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and repeats at 1:30 a.m. the same night and at 9:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. the following day. Vice President Biden's appearance will be posted for viewing the following day at www.thedailyshow.com with URL and embed links.

Political figures who have appeared on "The Daily Show" include President Barack Obama, former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, former Vice President Al Gore, Senators John McCain and John Kerry, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Speaker of the House Representative Nancy Pelosi and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In addition, General Pervez Musharraf, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, was Stewart's guest on September 26, 2006, marking the first time a sitting head of state had appeared on the show. Other international figures that have appeared on the show include former Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair, Bolivian President Evo Morales, former President of Mexico Vicente Fox and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Jon Stewart, Rory Albanese and Josh Lieb are the executive producers of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" with Kahane Corn serving as co-executive producer.
