Enjoy Thousands of Lights, Spectacular Shows and Thrilling Rides as Annual 'Holiday in the Park' Celebration Returns to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio

Weekends Beginning November 27 and daily December 18 - 23 and December 26 - January 3

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags Fiesta Texas is pleased to announce the return of its winter celebration, Holiday in the Park, featuring yuletide cheer and excitement through January 3. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the park transformed into a winter wonderland with the best in live entertainment, tasty holiday treats, and excitement for the whole family - all while surrounded by tens of thousands of colorful lights. With the return of favorites such as The Majesty of Christmas and the Frosty Chutes Snow Hill, there is no doubt Six Flags Fiesta Texas is the premier destination for holiday entertainment.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas offers the best award-winning live entertainment in the U.S. with the return of the season's most popular show, the Majesty of Christmas. The story of the Nativity is brought to life with a manger including live animals, angels flying through the heavenly skies and the unforgettable vocal performances of Mary and Joseph. Guests may enjoy the Majesty of Christmas in the Zaragoza Theatre for a nominal fee (in addition to park admission).

Included in this year's holiday entertainment is Happy Holidays!, presented in Sangerfest Halle, featuring favorite contemporary classics such as "Santa Baby," "All I Want For Christmas Is You," and "Boogie Woogie Santa." In the Teatro Theater, share in the salute to Christmas with Sounds of the Season featuring Santa's Brass. Also available are The Rockville Dickens Carolers in the streets of Rockville singing yuletide classics that everyone knows and loves. For a different musical adventure, experience the Magical Musical Lights presented in Texas State Square. This remarkable light display is choreographed to a variety of musical genres for a unique viewing experience throughout the day.

Continuing in the spirit of the holidays, Six Flags Fiesta Texas will have a 60-foot Christmas tree and a one-of-a-kind snow hill. Situated at the heart of Rockville, the 60-foot tree will be adorned with thousands of lights and ornaments providing the perfect backdrop for family photos. Every evening during Holiday in the Park, a special tree lighting ceremony will take place to commemorate the winter celebration. Additionally, Fiesta Bay Boardwalk will feature the Frosty Chutes Snow Hill, presented by Pure Party Ice, which will provide guests with the ability to careen down a winter slope on a sled.

No holiday celebration would be complete without a visit with Santa and his helpers. Santa's Castle offers a walk-through experience featuring wonderful holiday decor, elves hard at work preparing toys and a concluding meet and greet with Santa himself.

Holiday in the Park will offer thrilling rides and family attractions including Goliath, Tony Hawk's Big Spin, Boomerang, Scooby-Doo Ghost Blasters, Scream and the children's area Wiggles World. Introduced in the spring, Wiggles World offers fun adventures for every child including the hit live show Get Ready To Wiggle! in a special outdoor theater. In addition to fun rides, enjoy tasty theme park treats with special holiday offerings of tamales, bunellos, empanadas, and hot chocolate. Find something special for everyone this holiday season with a variety of retail shops, including Kris Kringle's Shopping Village.
