Destinee & Paris Join Line Up for 6 ABC/IKEA Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009

DUO TO HEADLINE MEDLEY PERFORMANCE OF MICHAEL JACKSON'S 'WE ARE THE WORLD' & 'HEAL THE WORLD'

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- American pop duo Destinee & Paris have joined the lineup for Philadelphia's 6 ABC/IKEA Thanksgiving Day Parade. The artists will ride the official IKEA float and will headline a colorful interpretation of Michael Jackson's "We Are The World" and "Heal The World." Choirs from the Anne Frank Elementary School and the CB West High School Choir will accompany the duo's performance which will be filled with international costumes, and adorned with flags from around the world.

Destinee and Paris are among the star-studded musical line up, which also includes Jason Derulo and the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders, Kimberly Caldwell, Sheila E and Philadelphia's own Bianca Ryan! Plus, from America's Got Talent, Nuttin' But Strings shows why their amazing performances made them a fan favorite! Miss America 2008 - Kirsten Haglund, and Miss America's Outstanding Teen - Jeanette Morlan, also join the list of celebrities attending.

Destinee & Paris have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season. With their debut album on target to be released in 2010, they are on top of the world. The group will perform the National Anthem for the Philadelphia Eagles on November 29 at 1:00pm. They have also been tapped by PETA to appear in an upcoming PSA campaign that will launch early next year.
