More than 700 Attend Grand Opening of Park Place Apartments at Petworth Metro and Short Film Premiere
WASHINGTON, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 700 people attended Capture, the Grand Opening Premiere of Park Place Apartments at Petworth Metro. The October 8th gala marked the official opening of the luxury apartment community -- now 38% leased -- and featured screenings of the Capture DC Life short film contest finalists.
Sponsored by Park Place Apartments at Petworth Metro, DC Shorts Film Festival, On Tap magazine, Ketel One and Stella Artois, the contest awarded the $1,000 first place prize to Ian Cook and Andre Dahlman for their film "The Dupont Hustle," the $500 second place prize to Tom Beddow, Nick Isani and Michael Kelly for "Stay Fresh" and the people's choice award to Dire Wit Films for "9:30: Our Scene." The awards were presented by Jon Gann, director of the DC Shorts Film Festival and John K. Groth, marketing director of Donatelli Development, the Bethesda-based developer of Park Place Apartments, which is managed by Bozzuto Management.
