Luke Fredberg Named Director, International Corporate Communications, CBS Corporation
NEW YORK and LONDON, October 22/PRNewswire/ --
Luke Fredberg has been named Director, International Corporate Communications, CBS Corporation, it was announced today by Dana McClintock, Senior Vice President of the CBS Communications Group. He will begin Oct. 26 and will be based in the London offices of CBS Interactive.
In this newly created role, Fredberg will report directly to the Corporate Communications Group in New York, as well as the executives in charge of CBS Corporation's international operations, including CBS Interactive International, CBS Outdoor Europe & Asia and Last.fm. He will develop and implement communications strategies for each business, as well as serve as CBS Communications' international liaison for all internal communications matters.

Before joining CBS Corporation, Fredberg was Director of Communications for the world's largest travel community, TripAdvisor. In this London-based position, he developed and planned consumer media relations campaigns across the European markets and India.
Previously, Fredberg worked as the Head of European Consumer and Sponsorship PR for Visa, based in London and Paris. The role encompassed the PR activation of Visa's large scale global sponsorships including the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games and the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France, along with the management of key celebrity campaigns, the Visa Swap pop-up fashion stores and numerous Olympic and Rugby Legends PR programs.
Before working for Visa, Fredberg lived in Sydney and worked for Spin Communications, Australia's first integrated communications agency, working across a variety of youth, fashion and lifestyle clients including eBay, Visa, Mercedes-Benz and Australian Fashion Week.
A dual Australian and Cypriot citizen, Fredberg received a B.A. in Media Studies from the University of Adelaide in Australia and a Masters of Journalism from the University of Wollongong.
