INgrooves Expands With Hopeless Records, Suburban Noize and Independent Label Collective

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- INgrooves, a leading provider of digital distribution, marketing and promotion services to the global music community, continues to expand its catalog of labels with the addition of three respected independent music companies: Hopeless Records, Suburban Noize and Independent Label Collective. The announcement was made today by Dave Zierler, EVP & GM, INgrooves.

"In growing our business it has always been a priority to partner with the most progressive artists, labels and executives in the business," said Mr. Zierler. "We're very excited to have Hopeless, Suburban Noize and ILC join the INgrooves family and to provide them the opportunity to tap into our global distribution, marketing and strategic services network."

The Independent Label Collective (ILC) is a collaborative effort of labels, artists and executives that aims to combine resources and experience to deliver new and DIY-minded solutions to distribution (physical & digital music sales), merchandising, marketing, licensing and PR worldwide. The group was formed earlier this year by former Caroline, Fontana, and Lumberjack distribution employees and includes independent labels Sympathy For The Record Industry, Chunksaah, Frontier and Tribunal Records. The agreement with INgrooves will encompass digital delivery of ILC content on a worldwide basis.

Founded in 1993, Hopeless Records is a Southern California independent record label featuring a diverse slate of pop, punk, rock and metal artists, including All Time Low, There For Tomorrow, Anarbor, We Are The In Crowd, and many more. Throughout the 15 year history of Hopeless Records, the label has released over 100 albums and launched the careers of Metalcore punks Avenged Sevenfold, rock group Thrice, pop-punk artist Amber Pacific and alternative rock band Melee. In addition, Hopeless runs a certified 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization called Sub City, which through special releases, tours, and events has donated nearly 2 million dollars to various charitable organizations. Under the terms of the agreement, INgrooves will deliver Hopeless Records content to select international territories.

An independent record label based in Burbank, CA, Suburban Noize Records was formed in 1995 by hip-hop artists Kottonmouth Kings' front man Brad "Daddy X" and their manager, Kevin Zinger. The label focuses on underground hip hop, metal and alternative music, and handles marketing and distribution for many high-profile artists including Kottonmouth Kings, (hed) p.e. and La Coka Nostra, comprised of Everlast, Ill Bill, Slaine, Danny Boy and DJ Lethal. Also affiliated via the Suburban Noize imprints Battle Axe and Break Silence Recordings, are Canadian hip-hop act Swollen Members, brokeNCYDE, Eyes Set To Kill, and Kill Paradise. INgrooves will handle digital distribution of Suburban Noize content to key international territories.
