Information Industry Veteran Don McLagan Joins The Echo Nest Board of Directors
SOMERVILLE, Mass., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The Echo Nest, a music intelligence company providing data-driven solutions for the online music industry, today announced Donald L. McLagan joined the company's board of directors.

Most recently, McLagan served as Chairman, President and CEO of Compete, Inc., which was acquired by Taylor Nelson Sofres in March, 2008. Previously, he was the founder, Chairman and CEO of NewsEdge Corporation, served as Vice President and General Manager of the Information Services Division of Lotus Development Corporation, and was Executive Vice President of Data Resources, Inc (DRI.)
