Starz Entertainment Promotes Jonathan Shair to SVP, Network Operations

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment President and Chief Operating Officer Bill Myers today announced the promotion of Jonathan Shair to Senior Vice President, Network Operations.

Previously serving as Vice President, Network Operations and reporting directly to Myers, Shair is responsible for overseeing all aspects of scheduling, inventory planning, creating programming events and packaging for all Starz Entertainment's 16 linear channels, four HD services, six On Demand platforms and broadband services.

Prior to joining Starz Entertainment in September 2000, Shair was director of scheduling and operations at Bravo/Independent Film Channel (IFC) where he oversaw creation of programming blocks, planning and scheduling, and on-air creative for both services. Shair holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Cornell University.
