Silestone(R) by Cosentino(R) Partners With Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Custom Builders and Celebrities To Provide Quartz Countertops for All Season 7 Episodes

HOUSTON, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Silestone by Cosentino has become an active partner in the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition "GET ON THE BUS" campaign for Season 7 of the award-winning reality TV show that airs on ABC. Cosentino will be involved in every episode of Season 7, starting Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, from 8 to 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

The 'GET ON THE BUS" theme represents a heightened focus on voluntarism during Season 7. The show has won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality Program, plus two People's Choice Awards, the Family Television Award for Best Alternative/Reality Program, and a Service to American Leadership Award presented by The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation.

"We are thrilled to join the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew, celebrities, custom home builders and thousands of other volunteers for the Season 7 GET ON THE BUS campaign. We have jumped on the bus literally and figuratively to support these life-changing dream home construction projects. Every one of these projects touches the Cosentino team and our local countertop fabricators in a memorable way," explained Lorenzo Marquez, vice president of marketing for Silestone.

Cosentino is actively participating in building and furnishing homes for as many as 25 deserving families this season. For several of the Season 7 episodes, members of the Cosentino management, marketing and customer service teams will "get on the bus" and become personally involved in creating a new home for these special families. All new homes are built and furnished within one week through volunteer labor, sponsorships and donations. Cosentino has agreed to donate Silestone quartz countertops (www.silestoneusa.com), fabrication and installation for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and other rooms for every episode of Season 7.

"Cosentino is deeply committed to corporate and environmental responsibility. From upper management to warehouse and office workers, Cosentino employees participate in charitable, cultural and educational projects throughout the United States," Marquez said. "The fact that the show's designers can choose from more than 65 colors of quartz countertop surfaces that can be delivered anywhere in America makes Cosentino a great season-long partner for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Our broad color selection provides ample choices for these talented designers to accommodate the regional flare of each family."
