Cox Communications' MyPrimetime(SM) On DEMAND Now Available in Las Vegas & San Diego

Cox's "TV Anytime" Approach is a Hit with Customers

ATLANTA, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications announced today that digital cable customers in its Las Vegas and San Diego markets now have On DEMAND access to hit shows from networks including ABC, NBC, Cartoon Network, FX, TBS, AMC, USA Network, Travel Channel, TNT, A&E and more with the addition of MyPrimetime(SM) to the On DEMAND library. Episodes of top primetime series are available to view anytime, free of charge, to Cox Digital Cable customers starting the day after they air on the network. This latest launch brings MyPrimetime to the vast majority of Cox's operating systems including: Orange County, Calif.; New England; Kansas/Arkansas; Arizona; Macon, Ga.; Roanoke, Va.; Tulsa, Okla.; Omaha, Neb.; Santa Barbara, Calif.; Hampton Roads, Va. and Greater Louisiana. The remaining Cox systems will launch the service imminently.

"We're excited to near the full rollout of MyPrimetime to all Cox systems so that even more of our customers have the opportunity to view their favorite shows on their schedule," said Bob Nocera, director of marketing, new video services. "The vast majority of customers who have experienced MyPrimetime have already roared their enthusiasm for the service with more than 90 percent saying they will use it again."

Cox plans to offer even more hit shows in MyPrimetime with the beginning of the fall television season. Shows will be available from more than 20 networks so customers can catch up - or begin viewing - some of TV's most popular shows at anytime, with no additional cost to customers.

"So far this year, we've offered subscribers access to more than 70 popular shows in MyPrimetime including hits like Lost, The Closer, Grey's Anatomy, Mad Men, Monk, The Office and more - all starting the day after their linear premiere," added Nocera. "The availability of these programs On DEMAND takes TV anytime to a new level, adding viewing convenience for our customers and maintaining advertising integrity for our network partners since programs in MyPrimetime can be fast-forward disabled."

With On DEMAND, Cox Digital Cable customers have access to a library of more than 7000 hours of movies and shows, including high-definition content and exclusive programming, all via the digital receiver. Customers can watch what they want, when they want by tuning to the On DEMAND menu on Channel 1.
