Yoostar Announces Retailers for Highly Anticipated August Launch
Incredible New Home Entertainment System Available in Multiple Channel- Retailers Starting in August
NEW YORK, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Yoostar today announced that the Yoostar(TM) system will be available for purchase on August 24 at Bloomingdales stores nationwide, and at all Best Buy outlets starting September 8. Bloomingdale's will be the only luxury department store to carry the product. The Yoostar system ($169.95 suggested retail price) was introduced to great acclaim at the opening keynote address of the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show.
"We believe Yoostar has the potential to be the single most popular home entertainment item of the holiday season, and beyond," said Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, President and CEO, Yoostar Entertainment Group. "Both retailers, with their history of being a launching pad for groundbreaking products, will ensure availability wherever our audience will be."
The Yoostar entertainment system allows you to film yourself right into famous movie scenes, where you can perform with, or replace, the original actors. Users can follow the script or deliver their own interpretation of the movie, then upload their performances to www.yoostar.com and share them on their favorite social networking sites. Yoostar will provide the opportunity for shoppers to experience the Yoostar system live in select Best Buy and Bloomingdale's locations during the month of September. Yoostar "stage directors" will assist users in creating their performances.
The Yoostar system includes all the tools to turn your home into a movie studio--a studio-grade web cam with built-in dual microphones and remote control, portable green screen, professional stand and Yoostar software that is compatible with both PC and Mac computers.
The system comes with an assortment of 14 scenes featuring multiple roles, with a constantly updated library of film and television scenes for purchase and download at www.yoostar.com. Some sample films include "The Godfather," "The Blues Brothers," "Some Like it Hot," "Field of Dreams" ,"Rocky," "Beverly Hills Cop, " and "Animal House." The Yoostar library will also feature scenes from "Sesame Street" and the NBA.
