MADISON, Wis., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Women's online fashion retailer www.shopbop.com will have fashion designer Erin Fetherston's highly anticipated short film available for viewing on their site beginning Tuesday, August 18th. Shopbop.com will be the only retailer with rights to show the 2007 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund nominee's latest film.

Directed by Marisa Crawford, the four-minute conceptual piece (entitled Birds of a Fether) reflects Fetherston's girly-meets-avant-garde aesthetic, and features the critically-acclaimed designer, her muses, and her fall 2009 collection against a New York City backdrop.

In Fetherston's words: "The realness of New York City served as the perfect balance to the fantasy of my collection. This imagery lent itself beautifully to produce a film that I couldn't be more excited about."

The film is part of collaboration between Shopbop and Erin Fetherston that also includes a sweepstakes wherein entrants can sign up for a chance to win a $1,000 Shopping Spree at Shopbop & an all-expenses paid trip to New York Fashion Week where they will attend the Erin Fetherston runway presentation.
