Double Strong Partnership Between Qin Jia Yuan and Tianjin Broadcast & TV Network Co. Ltd.

HONG KONG, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Qin Jia Yuan Media Services Company Limited (Stock Code: 2366, hereinafter referred to as "QJY" or the "Group") announced a channel collaboration with the Tianjin Broadcast & TV Network Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Network") for developing advertising and TV shopping businesses. The advertising value of the channel is RMB96,000,000.

As one of mainland China's four municipalities, Tianjin is the largest coastal city in northern China. In 2008, its GDP of RMB 635.438 million was ranked 5th in the nation, which was an increase of 16.5% from the previous year.

Tianjin Network's digital TV penetration ranks no. 1 among all cities in China, covering 2.6 million households across 15 districts in 3 counties in Tianjin. This collaboration between QJY and Tianjin Network will bring fresh and powerful energy to expand QJY's business map and growth in the media industry in China.

According to Dr. Anita Leung Fung Yee, Chief Executive of the Group, "Tianjin is unique; its media coverage is not affected by any provinces, including Beijing, and to stake our claim in the Tianjin media market is no easy task. Apart from achieving remarkable performance of the channels which QJY has advertising rights, we have begun collaboration with the Yunnan Cultural Digital Channel on Yunnan Cable TV to start the TV shopping business in addition to its usual advertising business beginning of this year. Up to July, our TV shopping business has demonstrated excellent performance, as reflected in the 188% growth since the start of the operation."

Chairman of QJY's Strategy Committee, Mr. David Liu, states, "In comparison to Yunnan, Tianjin is leaps and bounds ahead in its GDP or disposable income per capita. We have good reason to believe that this collaboration with Tianjin Network will bring even more remarkable results in terms of advertising and TV shopping for the Group. At this early sage, the Group estimates that the TV shopping portion of this collaboration with Tianjin Network should contribute RMB65,000,000 annual sales revenue, which will significantly improve the Group's cash flow. Since the TV shopping market in mainland China is still in its infancy, and is far from the advanced standards in the international market, the potential for development in the next few years is limitless.
