Anders Norstrom Appointed Chief Operating Officer for MobiTV

New role will unite MobiTV's Operations, Engineering and System Integration functions

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- MobiTV, Inc., announced today that Anders Norstrom has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Possessing more than 15 years of experience in the mobile and communications industries, Norstrom has spent the last two years overseeing and managing the global deployment of MobiTV's mobile content and delivery services as Managing Director of Europe.

Prior to joining MobiTV, Norstrom served as CEO/COO of Popwire Technology, formerly owned by Ericsson, where he was instrumental in developing new technologies for mobile, including playing a key role at Ericsson in facilitating the first 3G broadcast.

One of Norstrom's chief strategic objectives will be integrating the Operations, Engineering and Systems Integration functions at MobiTV, the seamless collaboration among these groups being crucial for MobiTV's continued leadership in the mobile media market. Norstrom will also facilitate effective relationships between other key departments at MobiTV, including the Office of the CTO; Sales; Product, Programming and Marketing, among others.
