New York's Hot Dog Obsession: Canadian Filmmaker dougieluv Tries to Understand America's Fascination with Hot Dogs

Although we have parked the 1988 Dodge dougieluv Caravan for a much needed rest as we search New York City by land, sea and air to find the best tasting Hot Dog, the dougieluv dog crew lead by dougieluv will be at famous Hot Dog Stands in NYC over the next week. A few Hot Dog hot spots we will be reviewing are, but not limited to: Papaya King, Willie's Dawgs, Grey's Papaya, Crif Dogs and Nathans on Coney Island (the original).

Speaking of Nathan's Hot Dog stand on Coney Island, the world will be watching the International Hot Dog Eating Champions this Saturday, the 4th of July. dougieluv leads the cheers in Coney Island, yet too full to compete himself. He is all about the best tasting Hot Dog anyway. "It's quality not quantity."

July 1st, 2009 is the day dougieluv and his film crew get back to documenting the actual eating of New York City's best Hot Dog.
