Change is good. Especially for Martha Byrne who left her role as Lily on ATWT recently. So what is Martha up to now? Plenty! She currently serves as a script writer for the CBS Daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful and soon she will be joining the cast of General Hospital.

Byrne began acting at a young age when she joined the cast of the Broadway musical Annie, where she played the role of July. She was a featured actor on a number of prime time episodic television programs, including Kate and Allie, Murder, She Wrote, Parker Lewis Can't Lose, Jake and the Fatman, In the Heat of the Night, and Hearts are Wild. Byrne also appeared in several television movies, with featured roles in When the Cradle Falls, Pink Lightning, and the HBO movie Anna to the Infinite Power, where she played the title role. Byrne is best known for her role on the CBS Daytime soap opera As the World Turns, portraying Lily Walsh Snyder. She initially assumed the role from Lucy Deakins in May 1985 and played Lily until October 1989, when she left the show and Heather Rattray assumed the role of Lily. Byrne returned in April 1993. Byrne became part of a "super couple" when then-Head Writer Douglas Marland paired Lily, a "poor little rich girl," with hard-luck farmhand Holden Snyder, played by Jon Hensley.

From 2000 until 2003, Byrne assumed a double role when she played Lily's long-lost twin, Rose D'Angelo who was created by Hogan Sheffer. Soon after her departure from ATWT, Byrne was hired as a script writer by Bradley Bell for The Bold and the Beautiful in early 2009. Byrne is also a singer. She contributed a Christmas medley to the 1994 RCA release, A Soap Opera Christmas. She released her self-titled album Martha Byrne in 1996. In 2006, Byrne released another album entitled, The Other Side. We will be playing some of her music from this CD live on the air.

Scott Macalister Bryce, sometimes credited as Scott M. Bryce, is an American film and television actor. Bryce is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Craig Montgomery on As the World Turns.

Bryce was born in New York, New York, the son of the late daytime actor Ed Bryce, who for many years played Bill Bauer on Guiding Light. Bryce grew up in Westport, Connecticut and attended Staples High School where he was an active member of The Staples Players student theater group. He appeared at the Palace Theater on Broadway in Caesar & Cleopatra staring Rex Harrison in February 1977.

Bryce, a two-time Daytime Emmy nominee, has found many ways to keep busy. The actor opened a three-camera television studio in an old vaudeville theater in Connecticut. Bryce has also made numerous guest starring appearances in primetime, including roles on Murphy Brown, ER, Law & Order, Reba and Sex and the City. In addition, the actor appeared as Dr. Crosby in a handful of episodes of ABC's One Life to Live in March 2006.

Bryce is perhaps best known for the role of Craig Montgomery. He joined As the World Turns in 1982 and was initially paired with Meg Ryan. He continued in the role until 1987, and then made several short term-returns over the years until he departed in 1994. The show re-hired Bryce in 2007, but it was announced in January 2008 that Scott would be leaving ATWT to pursue other opportunities.
